ClimateWeek NYC Trip - Green Schools Presentation

Our Greens Club president, Sarah Salvatore, received an invite to showcase what we do at Greens Club at the 2nd NYC Green Schools Conference, an official ClimateWeek NYC event. Ms. Salvatore is on the Project Green Schools National Youth Council. ClimateWeek NYC is an annual, week-long hub of activities held in conjunction with the United Nations General Assembly meeting in September. ClimateWeek NYC is designed to promote awareness to climate change and features NGOs, businesses, community organizations, and non-profits who come together to encourage proactive, sustainable change and solutions. As part of our presentation, Sarah and Greens Club sponsor, Mrs. Dionne Procell-Brown, created a new web site to help Magnet Greens educate and empower others to do more on the sustainability front.
